I got this laptop, but the problem is that I can't log on to it. It uses windows xp professional, but I don't know the password, I tried using the f8 key, but it still brings me to the sign in window. Is there a way to bypass the password, or do I have to purchase a new hardrive or something.

This will take care of it. You need the boot disk file and the program to unpack it. They are both available at this site
