Exactly right on July 25th I started seeing Event ID 50 and 2022 on a lot of my Windows XP machines. Not sure exactly what triggered the messages but I am investigating how to eliminate them. I believe event 2022 is related to a server having connectivity problems. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
EventID#50
The RDP protocol component X.224 detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client.
EventID#2022
The server was unable to find a free connection 1 times in the last 60 seconds. This indicates a spike in network traffic. If this is happening frequently, you should consider increasing the minimum number of free connections to add headroom. To do that, modify the MinFreeConnections and MaxFreeConnections for the LanmanServer in the registry.
