I don´t knows if this is the right place to ask...but...
I have tryed Whistler Pro Beta 2 build 2410.
But I didn´t come very far...
The installation started...from scratch, It started reading all the default files, like win2k. But when the real setup should beginn...(choose dir / drive / etc...) it hangs...
now.....why is that...it does that every time....
I have tryed to install it on an empty disk, upgrade from 98, 2000 pro and ME, nothing there :(
I have tryed witn different partoitions...nothing!
With and without network adapters...same sh*t...
I am running... Laptop Toshiba Tecra 550CDT
Intel P266 MXX - 64MB ram - 4gb hdd...

Can anyone help me? :)

Sounds like you have the Antivirus feature enabled in your BIOS.
Reboot your computer, enter the BIOS setup and disable the Antivirus security (if enabled).
Hope this is the culprit.

Nope....My bios does not have a antivirus function...
Anyone else...... JZII

It sounds to me like you have a compatibility problem.
Did you check the Hardware Compatibility List?
I have seen exactly the same problem, which was caused by the fact that the combination of the hard drive and motherboard caused the installation to "hang". I replaced the motherboard and this fixed the problem.

ahh, pre-beta builds, is there nothing they can run on?
There are always issues with interm-builds, most of them are best left alone, and chalked up to being "beta". I cannot help you directly, but is always a good place to look for help. If you haven't tried there, shoot me an email, and I'll give ya more info.

btw, for other readers of this post. Windows Codename "Whislter" has been given an official name.
This should be fun.....
