I like to know if there are short cut keys for the following:

1. Switching between users and I don't mean the Widnows + L because this key just lock the computer instead of switching.

2. A user log off

3. Computer shut down

4. Computer restart

Thanks for the help.

See the ideas suggested in these links.

Look at the Shutdown /? options via a command prompt and create your own Shortcut Key via the Shortcut Properties.

A List of the Keyboard Shortcuts That Are Available in Windows XP

The Properties of any created Shortcut Icon provides a space for you to type a keyboard shortcut that you press to start or switch to a program. Shortcut keys automatically include CTRL+ALT. Press the key you want to add to this combination. For example, to define the shortcut key combination CTRL+ALT+H, press H. You cannot use ESC, ENTER, TAB, the SPACEBAR, PRINT SCREEN, DELETE, or BACKSPACE.
No other program can use this key combination. If the shortcut key conflicts with an access key in a Windows-based program, the access key does not work. An access key is a letter or number that, when used in combination with the ALT key, carries out the same command as clicking the command with the mouse.

Many thanks for the suggestions. Many of the Windows 2000 and XP shortcut keys works differently in Windows Vista. Therefore, it's not exactly what I'm looking for. The two things I needed the most is switch user and user log off since Vista makes it three clicks before I can log off.

You can do this in Vista by hitting the windows key, then the left Arrow followed by the right arrow (or 3 right arrows) then hit
L to log off
R to restart
U to shut down
H to hibernate
W to switch users
O to lock

Alternatively you can hit ctrl+alt+del then alt+L to log off, or alt+w to switch users. (Hitting just Alt will underline which letters to use.) Or you can use the arrow keys and hit enter.

Nice work around but not particularly easy since there are too many keys to press and hit. However, it's better than nothing.
