SECURITY UPDATES FAIL TO INSTALL.
/CLICK(REVIEW AND INSTALL) SAME ISSUE
REG PROGRAMS INSTALL, BUT DO NOT LEAVE ICON ON DESK TOP.

JUST LOOKING FOR A GUIDE... THANKS

I had the exact same problem, i read through the microsoft help files and it was described word for word, a small patch rectified it, sorry i cant find the patch or link for you, but if you go to update site and then help or troubleshooting it is very obvious......goodluck

Thanks. I was being lazy. I hate digging through the ms pile. I'll check the update help screen though.
