I'm in the process of syncing my w2k root server to sync w/ the internet time service 192.14.41.40 . I made all the settings recommended by article# 216734 from Microsoft. My question is this. After forcing a sync I recive the following message and I dunno if it's good or bad. Think someone can say it is so....

I'll force a sync typing: w32tm -s

The following comes back

RPC to local server returned 0x0

Is this good? is it bad?
Little confused... no info on this on the internet... don't ask .....

thanks

to sync with an external NTP server, from a command line on the domain controller:

net time /setsntp:ntp.server.com
