windows shouting at me!

hi everyone,
i am having a problem with windows default text in internet explorer and notepad. the text has become huge and i dont how to restore to the old text settings. Does someone know whats going on?

Are the settings normal if you right click on Desktop,
select Properties / Appearance (?) - and , in IE ,
View / Text Size ?

I suspect that the automatic font used in Desktop Properties > Appearance > Windows has got corrupted or deleted and Windows is using another, larger, font as a substitute, or the same font but at a bigger size. You cannot change this font via the Desktop Properties, just it's colour.

I'm not sure what the default font is, but you could check that the fonts listed in the [Boot] section of system.ini exist on your computer.

This is funny but i figured out the problem..
My girlfriend changed the text font settings in Notepad and IE without telling me! sorry for the hassle and thanks for your help
