I always get this confused, so this might be a stupid question.

Server has 80 User CALS,

During Server install it asks for the number of CALS purchased. At that time I enter 80.

All looks good after the install, the licensing icon shows I have 80 listed.

My question is this, is there a license file or something that has to be entered to keep these settings? I know in TErminal Server for instance I would have to enter the CAL License number, what about just normal Server CALS?

Licensing grrr

Thanks

No, thats it. You can see the amount of licenses under Admin Tools/Licensing, where you can add or remove them.
With TS, you need to activate a license server which all or some of your TSs can use for the license pool.
