I am able to share, but I am unable to have a client (Users2000) on a machine to create a directory on a shared folder. The user has Full rights and the account Everyone and Domain Users are not listed on the Security Tab.

Thanks, Frank.

Check the SHARE permissions on the server they will prob be read only.

Like I said, the user has full rights onto that share.

/Files <-- Everyone: Full Access
/Files/Local/User2k <- Users2000: Full Access
/Files/Profiles/User2k <- Users2000: Full Access

I am still unable to create a folder.

Thanks, Frank.

So share and MTFS permissions are all set to full?

If so what error are you cetting when you try?

I just set up a 2003 server and it was mindboggling. Check to see if you set permissions on the security tab of the share folder. Permissions must be set two places on the share folder - on the share tab and the security tab. Let me know if it works. [pc3]

It worked. My problem was shared-related.

Thanks, Frank.

I had this problem also. Did you give permissions on tbe Security tab? It needs to be done there also.
