Hi I have win server 2003 running in my office and the terminal services is enabled; from home I was able to remote to the server and print via terminal service; for some reason the printer gets deleted off the server when I remote to it the 2nd time; any idea why the printer gets remove? It is pain ful to re-install the printer all the time.

Many thanks,
-Steve

You need to install the drivers on the Terminal Server. Set up a local printer (even though it does not exist) of the same type. When you connect it will redirect to your local printer.

Also, pleas enote that you posted in the EXCHANGE forum. This should be posted in the Windows 2003 Server forum. forum931

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

Make sure you don't have a login script setting the printer.
