I get the same error that you listed last. This began shortly after upgrading from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003/Windows 2003.

HOwever, the only thing ASP based I'd guess on my Exchange server is OWA, but it seems to be working fine.

I have been looking for a solution to this problem and I found it today. Sorry if this has been talked about but it was the only referance I found. anyway here you are

You need to re-enable session state and parent paths on the default web site.

Here's how:
Open the Internet Services Manager under Administrative Tools
Right-click the Default Web site, select Properties
Click the Home Directory Tab then click the Configuration button under Application Settings
In the dialog that pops up, click the App Options tab.
Check the Enable session state and Enable parent paths check boxes.
Click Ok and close all the dialogs.

Make sure you re-run the IIS Lockdown tool before doing this to undo the lockdown settings (this will also restore the Printers vitual directory if it is missing).
