Windows Security Alert | Microsoft Outlook Connecting to

Hi all,

Really strange one...

We've got a site where they are using Small Business Server 2008 which has Exchange 2007. They are using mostly Outlook 2010 on the computers, some are Outlook 2007. Both suffer from the problem below...

About 10 - 15 seconds after Outlook has updated with Exchange a pop up appears saying Windows Security in the title bar and has the words "Microsoft Outlook" and "Connecting to..." in place of the dots is the email address of the person logged in.

I've reboot the server and rebooted the computers - all without joy.

I can't understand what is triggering the alert.

Any ideas?

That sounds like something a rollup fixed a couple of years ago. Is this one updated to the latest Exchange SP and rollup?

I've just installed SP3 Roll Up 7 - awaiting a server reboot tomorrow to see the results.

Yes that's the same screen I get...

Still no joy with this...

We are currently looking to see if it's an Office update which has caused this.

We found that removing the below from client computers stopped the prompt from coming up:

Outlook Social Connector: KB2553406
Outlook Update: KB2553248

There are normally two lots of these as well.
