Help,
I have a pc that is running windows 2k. User placed a service call because machine was running slow.By the time I got there they had installed adaware and the pc reboots everytime it gets to the same point in adaware.
It was also giving a stop error: I don't have it right here with me but I believe it was a 7B with an 00000050 in the screen dealing with memory at an address. I replaced the ram, ghosted the hard drive put in a new hard drive and reghosted. It's still doing it, I have tried repair installs to no avail. Have removed nic, tried uninstalling some apps, no luck.
The blue screen is gone, but now it is rebooting randomly or usually when I try to access the net.
Has anybody ran into any similiar prediciment
