Have a Win XP user that after they login into Novell client the Windows password box come up. They try their Windows password and it will not be accepted, it will not accept the Admin password either. They can boot into Safe mode and login as Admin there and reset the users password. On reboot Windows still will not accept the very password that was done in Safe Mode. Help.

Are you sure is not asking for a password to the novell client itself? I am wondering is this really has anything to do with the windows password. What are the steps that are taken to get to this point?

Prolly it has to do with a corrupted user account.
When logging into a PC like that, you are asked for your Novell password and then a Windows one.

Dump Novell
Seriouslly though, Novell and XP have different passwords.
You can make them the same so you only have one password to sign into.
Because if they are the same, after putting the first passwd in, the other (Novell, or Windows) will go thru.

You could aslo change the order of loading Novell/Windows.
You could choose Windows as the primary logon then cancell Novell, until you figure whats going on.

Novell password may also have to be reset by admin, ensuring thru the console that nothing is disabled or expired.

Just some more on the Novell login.
