I have a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation with a CAT5 cable running to a network hub that is connected to a Novell Netware 3.12 Server.

Howver, I am havng no luck in obtaining connectivity.

I have installed the IPX protocol from the Windows NT 4.0 Workstation CD and rebooted the PC. But, when I attempt to edit the Domain Name and change to CRML (the name of the Novell Server) I am told that Windows cannot locate the Domain Controller. Boththe lights on the network hub and on the network card in the PC have a green light which tells me that they are detecting each other.

What am I doing wrong? Or is it Windows(!)?

All replies welcome.

Thank You.

I have now installed the Windows Netware client buy am still having no luck. I know that the network card is working as I see lights on both the back of the network card and on the network hub.

Has anyone any ideas?

Try a different forum. This one's dedicated to an old dead OS that was a competitor of Novell's, so it's the place least likely to offer support.
