Windows Media Player GREEN Screen

I have had this problem before and do not remember how to fix it. I am running WIN2k Pro (SP4) with Windows Media Player Ver. 9. When I run .wmv or .mpg files, the screen where the video is playing is green. When the file ends, the screen shows the last frame clearly. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you installed the Nimo pack codec? If you had look here for some information about green playback.

No, have not installed Nimo. I looked at the link you provided and did not see how to fix. Can you explain a little further.
