Hi,
I have a user running Windows ME on their computer and one day, they started up and the video card and mouse drivers were corrupted. I have restored these but she is now receiving "hkcmd.exe has caused an invalid page fault in module kernel32.dll" when she gets locked up and must reboot. Also when booting up each morning, she receives an error stating: "igfxtray has caused an invalid page fault in module32.dll". I have attempted to research these errors on the microsoft support website but they offer no information about them. Can anyone please help?

Thnks,

Amy

Try removing these two lines from this registry location: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
IgfxTray=C:\\WINNT\\System32\\igfxtray.exe HotKeysCmds=C:\\WINNT\\System32\\hkcmd.exe

Then reinstall the latest driver for the video card from the Intel website. Good luck.
