Trying to stop the PC from hitting the log on when I turn it on.
It comes up and wants a password everytime I turn it on but no one has set a password, how do I shut it off?
Thanks

Have you tried this. Find your password file in windowes.
It's XXXX.plw. Rename it to make a bakeup and shut your
computer down. When it boots, a window will pop up asking
you for a password. Just hit enter and it should log in.
From then on it shouldn't ask for your passwork.

If I go Start->Settings->Control Panel. Double-click Network and delete the Microsoft Family Logon from the Networks menu will that erase my password and allow me to start up my PC without the password at the beginning

Thanks
