windows logon screen missing

Windows server 2003,SP2
Can any one help please with this issue.After booting up to windows the logon screen is missing.It is there some where and i can locate it by trial and error and tap in username and password.
Have reintalled the graphic card driver but still no help.

Can you connect to this machine by remote desktop? Is this a new problem or has it never worked? Is the log in screen available in safe mode?

Try hitting F8 during start up and booting to Safe Mode. This will use default VGA drivers and might resolve the issue.
