How to troubleshoot slow logon?
When I try to logon to windows server 2003 network it takes around 3 minutes. What's the reason, how to check this and how to fix it?
At Preparing Network connection it takes around 30 seconds
Applying Computer settings 2-3 minutes
applying personal settings around 1 minute.

How to figureout what's wrong and where?

Check your DNS settings, these are ogten not installed correctly if you used the first server wizard. It should have 4 folders within. Check this page for all you need to know (half way down is about DNS) . Also make sure all clients point to your server for DNS
