windows hardware information

Hi,

How can I retrieve the current computer hardware information, such as video card, network card... etc.

This information will be used for fingerprinting of the system.

Is this info stored somewhere in registry?

What is the difference on how the information is stored among windows platforms?

I usually use Norton system info, but you can look in the Device Manager.

If you are using windows 2000 try winmsd.

after u test : winmsd
you can stop over the system information bar , then from the menu up there , you can save these info to a file ..
