gpo's administrative templates/network/network connections/windows firewall..

you will find 2 folders there the first selection in both disabled will turn off all clients firewalls

hope this helps

group polices management, you are running a 2003 server arn't you!!!

"Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing."

On your W2003 Server, go to START > Administrative Tools > Group Policy Management.

Expand Forest: (your domain)
Expand Domains
Expand (your domain)
Right click Windows Firewall and choose Edit

Then, as stated above,
Expand Computer Configuration
Expand Administrative Templates
Exapnd Network/Network Connections/Windows firewall...

In the Domain Profile folder, your first choice is:
"Windows Firewall: Protect all network connections". Disable it.

Do the same for the Local Domain (which only applies if the computer is not logged into the domain).

If that doesn't work, go back into the above folders and post what settings you have (enabled/disabled, etc).
