Hi,

I am trying to deploy my first packages with SMS, and am generally not getting that far. My project 2000 Package is failing as it can not update windows files. During a manual installation it always asks for the XP SP2 CD, however, it will not allow you to point to a network share and always looks for a physical CD that is directly attached to the machine. Is there any way around this problem for automated installs.

My Visio isntall is failing with a message of:

The program for advertisement "ROH20002" failed ("ROH00002" - "Per-system attended"). A failure exit code of 1619 was returned.
User context: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

Possible cause: Systems Management Server (SMS) determines status for each program it executes. If SMS cannot find or correlate any installation status Management Information Format (MIF) files for the program, it uses the program's exit code to determine status. An exit code of 1619 is considered a failure.

What is the best methods of troubleshooting such problems, just as a side point my Cache C:\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\Cache
only has one file skpswi.dat in it which is 0K, does this sound right?

Regards
