Hi All, Well, first time posting here. At my work we have linux file server and we have windows XP pro clients. The problem is if someone creates, deletes or copy any folder the user interface does not update automatically. Folder don't appear in windows explorer. And they become visible only when hit F5 key. I have found link on microsoft web site how to fix this problem. They have mentioned about installing a hotfix and updating registry file. I have updated the registry file, but could not find the hotfix for that. Please advice, what should i be doing to fix this issue. Thank you all in advance for your help.

Welcome to the site, that is the good news, the bad is, I don't know the answer but can offer some links which might give you a few things to try.

Some of the hotfixes can only be obtained via contacting Microsoft.

If you delete or add folders in a network-shared folder, Windows Explorer does not show the change in Windows XP
