I was just handed the task of administoring our Pilot Citix MetaFrame XPe 1.0 Feature Release 3 farm on W2K boxes.

My first problem that I can't figure out is with our Windows Explorer application we have published. Regular users do not have the "Map Network Drive" or "Disconnect Network Drive" funtions from the Tools menu in explorer. All admins do have this funtion. I have checked group policies (probably not well enough) and permissions to the application on the server.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try

gpedit.msc

on the Citrix server and check the policy there.

Cheers,
Carl.

Thanks Ogi for your post. I went into gpedit and found a setting for "disable Map Network Drive" but is was not configured. I disabled this setting hoping this would now display the Map Network Drive under the Tools menu but still the same thing. Admins can see it but anyone else that logs in doesn't have this feature.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Hi,

Then your server has a policy against it, you may need gpresult to view the policy settings. I believe this is a Microsoft utility.

Cheers,
Carl.
