I perform a clean install of Vista Ultimate without no problems, except for this:

After suspend my laptop (default option), always boot to Windows Error Recovery screen and say that windows didn't shut down successfully. I choose Normal Startup and everything it's normal.

I update my nvidia drivers to 160.03 (from and didn't fix it.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right-click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking. Select both boxes.

Have you tried setting your Bios to its Safe defaults, or checking if there is any Bios update available.

You could try the System File Checker program.

Thanks linney, HD is fine. SFC is fine. Bios is fine.

I used msconfig to make clean boots, and found that disabling the Plug and Play service fix it.

I tried to enable Plug and Play service and disable one by one his dependencies, but didnt work.

I could not fix it, I'll change to hibernate.

Do you have any add-on devices connected, and if so, have you tested without them? Printers, card readers, USB mice, etc.

Not add-on devices.

I solved activating "hybrid suspension" in the advanced power configuration.

Thanks for your help.
