Windows CE Sync

I have an iPaq that suddenly fails to Sync. I get eventID 59 SidebySide errors. Something about MFC80U.dll . It is a Generate Activation Context Failed for that .dll. Sounds like some sort of licensing error to me, but not sure what it wants activated or validated...

Any thoughts.

I have found the .dll file and tried to manually register it, but get a failed message reporting that the specified module could not be found!! It is there. I even downloaded a new copy of it... What is wrong here?
