Hi! This could be a dumb question, but I am wondering if I can install a windows CE on an old PC, 586 processor maybe. Is this possible?

Additional:
There is also "Windows Embedded" which is also referred to as "CE." That OS is used for point of sale registers, etc. I am not too familiar with that version and do not know if it is the same as "Pocket CE" but you could probably load that onto an old computer as it is designed for small footprint and mobile point of sale registers.
