I was looking for a way to eject the tape automatically after the backup process is done, I could not find any information on this.
Is it possible?

Thank you.

Assuming that you are using ntbackup for either nt or W2K?? Just issue "ntbackup eject" in the batch file and the tape will eject.

I am using ntbackup but I'm not sure what you mean by batch file, is it the .bks file or something else.
The .bks file only has the directories that need to be backed-up.

Thank you.
