Using Vista SP 2 and SSRS 2005, when in the Windows Service Identity of the Configure Report Server, I only see the Local Systems in the Built-in Accounts. I have read in a few documents that normally there are 3 options, (Local System, Network Service, Local Service). Can someone tell me where this list gets its values?
I think the fact that I cannot get Window Service Identity and Web Service Identity to show as configured is the reason why I can see the reports in the temp folder but not through our application. I am not getting any error messages that can help trouble shoot. I have installed on different desktops and servers so I don't know why it is not just working.
Any help at this point is greatly appreciated!

Is IIS configured correctly? By default, the Report Server Web service runs under Network Service in Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and under the ASP.NET account in IIS 5.0.

Might be a good idea to start there in your troubleshooting.

Does your version os Vista have IIS 7 installed? If so it could be a lot different than IIS 6.0 since 7 was a major overhaul comapred to 6. I've never used SSRS in Vista or above. Let us know what you find out!

Yes, I'm sorry I thought I had added that Vista does use IIS 7. I have read different articles on how to install SSRS on Vista but none help with troubleshooting problem areas.
This is the article that I followed during install then again to see if I had left out any steps.

With IIS 7, I have configured all of the websites are as Classic .NET AppPool instead of using the DefaultAppPool.

Thanks!
