When re-loading Windows 98 OS I get this enclosed exporer
message each time "This program has preformed an illegal operation and will shut down, invalid page fault in module
d33I0.dll at 0167:61C05319" would you know what is causing
this?

Hmmmm... I'm running under Windows98 and have searched for a file with the name d33I0.dll, but can't find it. You may have any additional software installed that is trying to load itself on boot-up. If you can find out what it is, try to disable it.

The file was D3DIO.DLL

the file was F3DIO.DLL

No joy on either one. (I searched for ?3DIO.DLL)

There are a bunch of .dll files in the system folder with the shape of D3D*.DLL but none that look like F3*.DLL.

I still think it's some third-party thing.
