Windows 98 Taskbar problem

Hi, we have a machine in our office, when you minimize any program, instead of appearing on the taskbar, it completely dissapears but if you press ALT + TAB, you can bring the item back up. I've checked the screen settings and the taskbar isn't too big to display or anything like that. Has anyone seen this before and can help me to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help.

I was just reading another post which mentioned the wonderful greeting card program, well it was exactly correct, the user had clicked on the greeting card. After removing the two programs and rebooting, minimized programs now appear on the taskbar again.

The Greeting Card virus is indeed the problem. These are the files to delete
