Could someone please help with a problem that I am currently experiencing with one of our workstations.
It is running Win98 and has been having problems lately with shutting down. When asked it just sits at the Windows is shutting down screen and nothing happens.
The computer WILL restart however.
Any suggestions would be most helpful,
Thank you all in advance,
Colin

Hey mvitan,

Please send me that list too, if you still have it. I just started diagnosising this on my home pc. Thanks. -Bobby s-)

Paul Ovey's FAQ for this glitch fixed my problem right away. I have been using the shortcut to Rundll.exe for the last few days and the problem has not resurfaced. If anyone else is suffering from this glitch, I would advise them to try this shortcut first.
Cheers Paul.
