windows 98 se update problem 1

Hi,
After install win 98 Se in partition D:\ and Windows XP Professional on partition C:\, when try to run Windows Update for Win 98 Se I am receiving a message "Administrators Only" thus after scan for update begun.
When running XP everything is going O.K. with updates.
Please can somebody explain a reason why this happend wit Win 98 Se and how to solve the problem.

win98 can only be installed to the c drive I believe its not as clever as 2000 or xp
you would be better hiding the othe OS using bootmanager or partion magic
and have the xp version hiden then you will be able to install 98SE to its own c drive !

good luck, boot manager is free I beleive or you can use acronis partion magic, from pc answers
