I have just setup a Win2k sbs server and all looks like it is working ok. however, when the pc's win98 pc's, using outlook 2002 try to send an email they get an error message stating that "Network problems are preventing connection to Exchange server".. But they can see their email!

The w2k pro machines work fine.

Has anyone seen this before?

Help!!!

Has Outlook Xp, got the latest service pack on it - think it is up to SR2.

Also have you tried connecting with Outlook 2000?

thanks for the help. In the end it turned out to be the order in which the network card was bound. Once fixed everything was ok.

"the order in which the network card was bound" Could you enlighten me as I'm haveing same problem.
Thanks
