When booting my old laptop, I get the message "Windows found an error in your system files and restored a recent backup of the files to fix a problem. Press enter to restart your computer"
When I press enter the laptop doesn't restart but instead comes up with the same message so ids effectively looping around attempting to fix a system file.
The laptop is an old Pentium 100 (not sure of HDD size but I think 20gb). Laptop has a floppy only and no CD, so any fixes need to be able to be applied via a floppy.
I have a Win 98 boot disk but don't know where to go from there.
