Windows 98 and net use command

I'm trying to map network drives to folders on the w2k server. I can map to a main folder, but cannot map to sub-folders underneath that folder. (I can do this mapping in Novell, which we currently are using.) I tried sharing the main folder with Everyone, but still cannot map the sub-folders. I need to assign different drive letters to the sub-folders for the application to work properly.

Does w2k server not allow drive mappings to sub-folders?

You are correct in your assumption. You can only map to shared folders. Share each subfolder and this should work. I experienced similiar problems when we migrated to NT from Novell.
