windows 8 with softconsole error

Dear All,

Using Windows 8 64bit, running Avaya IPOffice at 8.1(43) with softconsole. Found error when login, it prompts "Not an authorized user".

No matter i change the compatibilities of it to win7 or xp. still not help.

I turn off all firewall settings and disable NOD already, but still not help.

however, when i use xp, it works fine.

pls help help.
 
Same for me on R9.0.0.0.800 SoftConsole 4.2.30 on win8 64bit Enterprise

I've already raised a case with Avaya for this.
Fix date is meant to be 29th of November.

You can muck around with the compatibility settings, which will make it login intermittently if you set it to Windows xp mode.
 
Is windows 8 Supported by Avaya?

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

applications are not currently supported with Windows 8:

• Contact Store
• one-X Portal Plug-in for Salesforce

intrigrant, does it means r8.1(67) user cd is ok for windows 8 (32/64bit) ??

i will give it a try and update you all. meanwhile, does anyone got a shot for R8.1(67) and sc working in win8??

I wasn't able to get soft console working (8.1 rls 67)on my windows 8 laptop.
Wasted a bunch of time on it, found it worked just perfect on my win 7 desktop.
 
Wallysworld, it seems we've encountered the same. anyway, waiting is only option.
