I have a panasonic kx-tva50. I had the software and the drivers for windows 7 installed on my computer and it was working great. One day when I tried to open the kx-tva maintenance console it said STOP the system cannot find any USB device connected to your computer. I was hoping it was my usb cable but it wasn't. I bought a new one and still nothing. I than uninstalled the kx-tva maintenance console and reinstalled it. I copied my usb driver to public documents. Still nothing I compied them to the destop and also the maintenance console folder still nothing. I read online where it said to copy them to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop. But in windows 7 I can't find that. I also have a Xp Pro Edition same thing. Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks

Upon installation of the KX-TVA Maintenance console, you are asked at the last bit of the installation to save the USB drivers.

Save it to a know directory then follow below;

Right click my computer
Select manage
Next, device manager and select the yellow icon corresponding to tva ...
Update .... tthis time only ... and navigate to the folder with Win7 USB drivers.

Shouldn't really be a hard thing to accomplish

Hi otoni54,
Okay I tried the suggestions you gave me but the funny part is when I right click on my computer and then select manage it opens up then I go to device manager. I can't find the TVA anyplace but there is one menu in device manager it says other devices and under is is an item with Unknown Device with yellow exclamation point. I click on it to update like you had said and I copied the USB drivers to a folder I created on the desktop. I clicked from where I wanted the drivers to be copied from and it tries to copy them for a second and than displays this message Windows was unable to install your Unknown Device and underneath that it also said windows could not find driver software for your device. I was thinking I should have found the TVA under USB devices but I am probably wrong. I opened all the menus and sub menus I just couldn't find it any place. I know it's on the computer cause I can open the KX-TVA 50 Maintenance Console. But it still says STOP the system cannot find any USB device connected to your computer. But before it displays that it asked me for my password (that's after I enter the programmer code password) which it has never done before and it displayed that message. I do think were somewhat on the right track. I did try installing with the USB plugged in and without the USB plugged in but still not working. What is the best way to install that with or without USB connected. I am running this on my windows 7 computer for my windows xp has died. Thanks for the previous information and any help further would be greatly appreciated. I am sorry about this long note and hope I didn't confuse anybody to much. I know it shouldn't be hard to accomplish cause I understand computer. This time it seems like the computer got me cornered. HA HA.
Thanks Again
