Has anyone had any issues installing GP 9 on windows 7 x64 or x32?

Here is my blog post on the topic

Make sure you install .Net Framework 1.1 service pack 1 to be able to install v9.0 service packs.

Just wanted to say, I have followed the advice in David's article and it's right on! Running GP 9.0 on Windows 7 with no issues. (Thanks again, David.)

Additional note - as a rule, for both Windows Vista and Windows 7, I always install GP while logged into Windows as THE local administrator and always install outside of Program Files.

ok notes taken. I will try and get the service packs installed after .net 1.1 is installed.

Can't install custom MSI but running setup.exe that is provided by the custom install options did. Can't remember if I installed outside of program files or not.

But Service Pack would not install... but I haven't run .net 1.1 yet.

Just to reiterate what is in David's excellent blog post and response above - you will need not only .NET Framework 1.1 but also Service Pack 1 for it before you can install the GP 9.0 Service Pack.
