Hi

I have had this happen a couple of times.

I start showing that I have no internet connection.

I switched to XP boot and my connection is alive and well.

After a lot of fooling around I disabled the present connection and then tried to reestablish a new one.

That didn't work at first but eventually I was able to get the connection working again. The second time without recycling my router.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happing.
Windows didn't have any problems setting up the connection initially.

Hello again

I think I have it solved at last, at least for me.
This probably isn't the answer for everyone.

It goes back to installing the Adobe software.
I was looking at the list of installed programs and saw an application called Bonjour Services. I remembered that I had seen some reference to this software during my browsing.

I Goggled it and found that it is installed along with Adobe and I-Tunes software and has something to do with networking.

I uninstalled it and my computer has connected normally since.

I have my fingers crossed, I have thought that I had this fixed before but it has worked for a whole day now.

Bonjour Services
Yep, MANGLEDWARE as I mentioned in the other thread...

I had forgotten about that service, as I haven't run into the problem lately...

Thanks for the heads up, on what fixed it for you, it may prove more valuable than you believe now...
