IS-IT--Management
Hi Guys,
I have a server which is displaying a failed Mirror in Disk Management. It's a HP ML310 G5 with hot swap SATA Disks.
No red lights on the disks, but I suspect as Windows handling the array there would be no red lights?
It's saying that Disk1 is 'Missing' When I right click on it and click 'Import Foreign Disks' it hangs and crashes, then I open another copy of Disk Management, it then displays, Disk1 Errors.
The Array at the bottom always seems to say Missing.
For a while, the healthy disk's partitions were red and said Failed. However, now they are Brown and saying Healthy, however the array has still failed.
I'm trying to figure out whether the disk has failed, and needs replacing... or whether the array has cocked up and needs rebuilding? The thing is, on this server.. the backup has been playing up. I have a good backup, but on a HDD and no individual mailboxes. So I don't really want to rebuild the OS (I think that would be overkill).
I attach a screen shot of Disk Management
I appreciate any help
Thanks,
Jon
