Hi there,

I`m having a problem on a windows 2003 Server running SP2 with SQL 2000 on. For some reason the Hard drive Capacity is decreasing steadily without anything being loaded onto the server has anyone come across this before?

Thanks Richard

I think this should have been posted in the SQL forum with a question of why transaction log files are so big. Well thats what I think is happening. Windows Server 2000 had issues with log files whereby 10MB log files were made after backup, but that was also corrected in the service packs, I know I found out the hard way.

Thanks for the Quick response, will take this up in the Sql Forum.

Cheers Richard

Don't assume that I'm correct. Look into log files or use something like treesize pro to determine where your space is
