All-

I have been racking my brain for 3 days on this. The scoop. I have a Windows XP Pro machine connected to a Linkysys Router to a Cable Modem to another Cable modem to another Linksys router to another Windows XP machine through VPN. All works fine back and forth. When on the 1st network with a Windows 2000 Pro machine with the same vpn settings in the client I can't access resources on the other network, logs in but that's it. Ping no response.
Does Windows 2000 Pro need something that XP has?

All ports are opened up and enabled.

Hi,

I am not sure if this is of much use but the other day I noticed some articles on Microsoft Knowledgbase in regard to clients not being able to VPN if using Linksys Routers - may be worth a look -
Regards

Ian
