Windows 2000 updates fail

When trying to use windows updates, i get an error message
"The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

0xC80001FE"

I've had this in the past but I forget the resolution. Any Ideas?

I don't know this error specifcally.

But you should check that you have internet explorer 6 as a minium.

the https port is allowed

windows updates is a trusted site?

you are an administrator

and the server has been rebooted since the last update
