how can i run a program during startup using the system.ini or the win.ini, im using windows 2000 professional, or how can i start a program during startup without putting it in the startup menu, tnx

If you just want it to run when someone logs in, then put an entry in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run. You can use the other keys that are sure to be there as templates.
