Has anyone upgraded to Windows 2000 SP3? If so, what is your experience thus far? Good/Bad?

I upgraded 2 webservers and 1 exchange server over the past few days and as of yet have had no problems

No problems here either... 1 server and one pro machine. CJ

Labmice.net has some good info for SP3. Might be good to keep an eye on it. I'm still waiting for an "all clear" to upgrade my server and workstations...

Anyway, here's the link:

Installed it on a server and one pro: NON production machines. NO problems so far.

Will wait for at least 2 weeks before it comes near production.

Hope this Helps

Promise reported no support with their IDE controller drivers though they have released a beta driver...
It didn't affect my Promise controller obviously because the boot and system drives are on that card.

No problems here. Have done three servers and numerous workstations so far.

I have had one weirdness on one server. After upgrading I have received the following error message after I load the Event Viewer:

Unable to complete the operation on "System Log". The interface is unknown.

Similiar message when I try to start IIS:

Could not start the World Wide Web Publishing service on Local Computer. Error 1717: The interface is unknown.

I have tried the Knowledge Base to no avail.

Anyone have any idea what is happening here?

upgraded one production Domain Controller and several workstations. no problems so far !
