If Service pack 3 is really availible how come that URL you gave does not exist. How come it goes right to a download screen and not a webpage. I broke the URL down and it gets as far as download.microsoft.com/download then the URL gets no where. There is no reference in Microsoft KB or Windows Update. What are you up to?

I downloaded it yesterday, and have it installed on a W2k Pro desktop and a W2k Advanced Server for testing.

So far...nothing. No apparent difference in performance or anything else - except a horrible XP-like Set Program Access and Defaults icon on my Start Menu. It's just a link to Add/Remove Programs that has had a few enhancements added.

Day 2. My test server is still up, no perceptible differences between performance now and before SP3 install. Will wait a week to prove stability before benchmarking and trying the new features. I already dislike the new XP-style icons that are creeping in (Set Program Access and Defaults on the Start menu - just a shortcut to Add/Remove Programs, and offers nothing that you couldn't have done yourself). I installed it on my laptop last night. McAfee Virus Scan 5.21 no longer works. I tried it on a clean PC (installed Win2k first, patches, SP3, etc)...and then installed Virus Scan, and it doesn't work either. Virus Scan doesn't load at startup, and when I try to manually start it, the program freezes. I've talked to 2 McAfee technicians, and one said that it wasn't compatible with IE6 (which is strange since it was working fine right before the SP3 install), and the other said that they didn't have any reported problems yet. Both suggested I upgrade my Virus Scan to version 6.

My machines is win2k Pro..sorry, i should've specified that in my post. I have PC-Cillin 2002 running on 2 of my machines at home, and they're not having any problems. If I can't get McAfee to work, then I'll buy another license of PC-Cillin. Thanks for the response!
