Windows 2000 Server Maintenance

Hello everybody, I am new in Windows 2000 server(I worked with Novell Server) and I have some questions:

1. What is the steps for Maintenance(Patches, shutdown, etc.)
2. How many License of Terminal Server come with Win2K(Remote and Aplication).

Hi Tswa,

We could write a book answering Q#1 for you.

The short answer would be to tell you to visit Windows Update and install all critical fixes. Revisit to ensure you have everything. Keep in mind that some hotfixes are dependent o others. For instance, you won't see a Post SP1 hotfix until after you installed SP1.


Q#2 is easy. The answer is 2.
