I changed my windows 2000 password to log on to my computer and I am set up as the administrator and I can not rember what the password is. So is there a way I can reset the password or bypass it so I can change to something I rember.
I found this among the posts here, it's worth a try...

There is a unix utility that will you to change the 2000 admin password. It runs off diskett and it is a bootable file. This is a last ditch effort but I have used it several times and haven't had any problems yet. The URL is listed below.
I ran into the same problem, which is forgot the password. I went to the link Patty was post it but it's no longer valid link. Is it possible that you are still have this bootable disk and send it to me.
